1933 British hard court Championships gold medal, 9ct gold medal, 'The Lawn Tennis hard court Championships of great Britain', engraved '1933, men's Doubles Champions, J.Crawford, D.P.Turnbull', in original case. (Jack Crawford's numerous Championships included Wimbledon 1933, France 1933, Australia 1931, 1932, 1933, 1935 - the first player in the world to win 3 of the 4 grand Slam titles (also narrow loser in 1933 Us final) in one year. Don Turnbull was an Australian Davis cup player 1933-35, and also won the Australian Doubles, with Adrian Quist, in 1936 &1937)
