A pair of Danish sterling silver candelabra, circa 1960, with maker's marks for Axel Salmondsen, in the 18th century manner, each with a central knopped stem supporting curvaceous arms with shaped octagonal nozzles and raised on a domed spreading base of scalloped form with a small well; stamped sterling 9255 and with maker's initials underside, also hand inscribed dates to each, silver weight 1533gr height 22 cm. Width 22 cm.
