British military single shot percussion pistol Pattern 1842 sea service, approx 282 mm overall with 150 mm round barrel of 54 cal. Brass mounted with steel captive ramrod and belt hook. Lock marked '1856 Tower' and with crowned V.R. cypher. Markings under belt lock 'J Wilcox' and 'Tipping and London'. In exceptional condition, with almost all original finish.
