A W&R Carlton Ware 'Armand Flies' vase, circa 1917 pattern 2134, shape probably 164, design attributed to Horace Wain, the slender bottle vase dotted with coloured insects in autumnal colours enhanced with mauve, teal and cherry upon an ice blue mottled ground, the rim and base with gold tracery borders; with backstamp underside and pattern number. Height 26 cm.
