A vintage brass Broadhurst, Clarkson & Co telescope. First half 20th century, and retailed through N. H. Seward Melbourne, the large telescope with two sighting lenses and housed in the original timber box, and an associated timber tripod stand; inscribed maker's and retailer's marks to the instrument and maker's plaque to the box. Height 168 cm. (tripod) length 103 cm. (telescope).
