A quality antique sapphire and diamond brooch. 18ct yellow and white gold, Edwardian, crafted as a fine oval plaque brooch, centrally set with a floral cluster featuring a central Ceylonese sapphire of fine cornflower blue colour, weighing approximately 2.75ct, millgrain set within a frame of twelve old cut diamonds, branching out to two further diamonds set within a wire worked open frame of gold, bow motif details four points, further set with tiny diamonds, completed with pin to reverse
