A pair of Longton Hall figures as candlesticks, circa 1750-53, decorated by the 'Trembly rose' painter, depicting a gallant and his lady in floral attire mounted on scroll decorated bases and formed as candlesticks with metal sconces. Provenance: The Rous Lench collection England and the same pair illustrated in Bernard Watney's 'Longton Hall porcelain' as plate 18A & B. Height 22.5 cm
