A pair of hardwood 'dragon' chests each of square form with hinged lid opening to a shallow compartment above double doors, the interior with a pair of low drawers, the top, rear, front and sides carved with dragon and lingzhi fungus medallions within foliate scrolls at the corners, the top bordered with a band of lappets, supported on a fitted stand with short cabriole legs joined by a shaped apron and terminating in ruyi -shaped feet above a flat cross stretcher, the hardwood resembling jichimu (2), each 67 cm high, 51 cm wide, 51 cm deep
