A Japanese sterling silver cocktail shaker. Mid 20th century, marked sterling and with Chinese character marks for 'Pure silver' as used by both Korea and Japan, and mark of Nambu, the baluster shaped shaker with an elegant 'C' form handle and detachable handled top to the domed led and a short kendi style spout with cap, engraved to the upper body with vigorous scrolled leaf and fan motifs; marked underside. Total weight 791gr. Height 26.5 cm
