A large famille verte Chinese vase in the Kangxi manner, later Qing Dynasty, 19th century, the bulbous vase with a broad tapering neck and applied deer head lug handles in mauve, the body with scalloped panels enclosing domestic figural narrative scenes and heart shaped panels to the sides with floral sprays against a black speckled ground richly decorated with flora and insects; with underglaze Kangxi mark within concentric blue rings underside. Height 36.5 cm
