A Chinese famille rose porcelain moon vase, the moon vase of typical form with applied pierced dragon with snake tail handles, decorated in the Cantonese manner with figures engaged in pursuits and narratives in pavilion and garden settings to each face and framed with flora and gilt key fret bands, a brocaded border to the base with scattered fruits, flowers and auspicious Buddhist objects; bearing a hybrid red Qing seal mark underside. Height 37 cm
