An inscribed 'famille-rose' brushpot, 20th century of square section, the straight sides painted on one side with a bird and flowering wysteria with an inscription reading (The Jingdezhen ceramic research centre) and signed Liu Yucen with a red seal, the reverse with birds and blossoming prunus and interspersed with plant details with red seals, the base with a four-character Jingdezhen seal mark in iron-red 20 cm high
