A small Japanese Akasuke cloisonne vase, first quarter 20th century, of baluster form with metal mounts, the red pigeon blood vase with clear enamel applied to a stippled metal base and relief designs of bamboo, and decorated with a continuous border of opaque prunus blossom; marked made in Japan underside, possibly Ando. Height 9.5 cm
