A 19th century French Chasseurs (household cavalry) steel breast plate, helmet and sword; the breast plate front and back sections with leather strapping and brass fittings, rivets, chain sections, etc., shaped flange to the base, the steel helmet with tall curved comb terminating in a female mask, applied embossed brass panel across the front with central flaming orb, the leather chin strap with brass fish scale type cover, the sword with wide steel hilt, multiple restrained curved piercings, black ribbed grip, mildly curved steel blade.
