A Doulton Burslem vase hand-painted by William Hodkinson (act. 1880 - 1920), slender inverse baluster shape with two loop handles at the neck and mounted to the shoulder with two moulded mask grotesques. Painted with an encircling winter landscape with sheep beneath a full moon. Signed, printed and factory marks. Height 19 cm
