A pair of Chinese export polychrome-decorated sleeve vases, latter half 19th century, each with a waisted neck, reserves to the body alternately decorated with scenes of figures on terraces and with birds and insects amidst flowers, the neck with figures in reserves, framed by gilt and coloured foliate borders.
