A West Australian Winthrop Hackett Lodge gold Masonic jewel, 9ct yellow gold and enamel, with makers box, by Walter Jorgensen Murray Street Jewellers Perth. Awarded to Eric William Gillett 1937, engraved verso: 'Presented to Wor. Bro. E. W. Gillett as a mark of esteem Nov 13th 1937', with various Masonic ephemera and certificates. Height 9 cm. Total weight 29grams. Note: Eric William Gillett (1899-1987) served as the mayor of the Municipality of Claremont from 1940 until, 1953, and Chancellor of the University of Western. Australia from 1948 until 1956
