A large Briar Gardner Studio Pottery trough vase, of tall oval ribbed form, pale tan/green glaze with darker highlights, incised full signature to base. 22 x 10 x 12 cm
incised. A record of a name, date or inscription, or a decoration scratched into a surface, usually of a glass or ceramic item with a blunt instrument to make a coarse indentation.
