A polychrome carved wood figure of Saint Sebastian, probably Spanish, 16th or 17th century, Depicted tied to a tree. Leaning back and standing on a plinth, gilt to stand and loincloth, statue intricately painted, condition: evidence of worm holes and losses to paint. Provenance: Dr Theo Schlicht and thence by decent, height 39 cm
