A gold veined quartz specimen on a timber stand, The timber stand with a plaque inscribed 'The base of this momento is a piece of Messmate timber from a tree about 6 feet in diameter. It was recently removed by Western Mining from an old Bendigo mine where it has under water for 80 years, 13 cm high, 12 cm wide, 8.5 cm deep
