cheval - mirrors
Cheval mirror. A long dressing mirror supported on a timber stand, the angle of which is able to be adjusted with thumbscrews. On the earlier Victorian examples, the mirror supports were sometimes fitted with candle brackets. The heavier and more stylistically confused they are, the later they are likely to be.
